Welcome to Forays in Film!

I used film cameras from my teenage years right up until around 2005 when I bought my first digital SLR camera. Once I picked up the Canon 20D I didn’t touch a film camera until late 2011.

I still have my old film cameras and full darkroom gear up in the loft. I could never quite bring myself to sell it thinking that one day I might use it again.

In September this year I started seriously thinking about running a roll of film through the old cameras. Then I thought it might be nice to get hold of a vintage camera. I headed off to Ebay only to find hundreds of old cameras begging to be bought. So I did. Quite a few.

This blog will document how I get on with my forays back into film.
